decorating ideas for short square windows?

i have three small windows right up next to each other in a row. they are about 24″ x 24″ each and all contained within one frame of woodwork. i am having the hardest time with window treatments for these windows. long curtains would look ridiculous and i currently have short curtains on them that look a little silly. i’ve tried bamboo blinds, but they don’t offer much privacy, and i’ve tried 2″ wooden blinds that are too wide for the frame. does anyone have any other decorating ideas that i might try?
